What's up! It's been a minute but I wanted to give you guys an update as to whats been going on with me. First off, July 4, 2009 I married the love of my life and high school sweetheart Tamika. She is also the mother of my son Derrick"Deuce" Johnson II. It was a beautiful and joyous occasion and honestly one of the best days of my life. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and son. The many months of planning definitely payed off and I couldn't have asked for a better day. That combined with getting ready for and going into training camp have made me a very busy man so bare with me yard barker.

Okay enough of the mushy stuff. Training camp couldn't be going better we are looking better each day. Adjusting to the new coaching staff was honestly a smooth transition and I can't complain. I'm very excited about the upcoming season if you've noticed we have a pretty challenging schedule which makes it more the fun. To all the LOYAL KC fans or even the DJ fans I promise you guys we are working harder than ever and more determined than EVER to prove the non-believers WRONG. We do this all the for the fans and for the LOVE of the game. This is going to be a good season I can feel it. Tune in for the next pre-season game against the Vikings. Until next time......
