Rachaad White continues recent positive trend for the Buccaneers
Thomas Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost in a pretty brutal fashion today. It is going to be hard to find a lot to like in a loss against a team of Houston's caliber, but sometimes you have to try in a dark time.

Today, the biggest bright spot came from the offense and the 37 points they were able to score despite a stagnant second half.

A huge part of this offensive success came from running back Rachaad White.

Rachaad White being the bright spot in a loss has been a common story the last few weeks. Despite many of Tampa's offensive shortcomings, it seems like White keeps finding ways to make large contributions to a side of the ball that needs it.

After being one of the top receivers over the past few weeks, White finally broke out today as a runner, even if that breakout still wasn't reaching the ceiling just yet.

With 20 carries for 73 yards, four receptions for 46 yards, and two touchdowns, White was the man today.

This player that can do it all through the air and on the ground was the one that was advertised when the Bucs selecting him two years ago, and finally seeing that player adjust to and fit the system has been one of the only refreshing parts of this offense.

It may not have been enough to secure a win, but more games like this from White should help build a foundation that keeps this offense in the green more often than not.

Hopefully the Bucs can find a way to sustain the success while also finding ways to add to White's efficiency.
